Crawford County Health Department and Family Response Advocates are hosting a Prenatal Collaborative Symposium on Saturday, April 18, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Center in Pittsburg.
This event offers community training for parents, caregivers of young children, and families who are expecting a baby or have had a baby in the past 12 months.
Tammy Alcantar and Diann Gambill will present on urgent maternal warning signs, focusing on postpartum depression, including signs and symptoms and ways families can manage symptoms and find support.
Community vendors will be available to share information about services and resources that families can access for additional support. Organizations interested in being a vendor should contact Diann Gambill.
